What is the problem with Accutane?

Accutane is a drug used to treat severe cystic (nodular) acne. Accutane was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1982. It is manufactured by Hoffman-La Roche and is also marketed under the names Roaccutane, Amnesteem, Claravis, and Sotret.
