Michael Schmidt Earns Place Among ‘Best Lawyers Under 40 in Dallas’
(Dallas, TX) — Attorney Michael E. Schmidt of Dallas’ The Schmidt Firm, LLP has been named to D Magazine’s “Best Lawyers Under 40 in Dallas” list for his work in product liability and personal injury litigation.
Mr. Schmidt’s practice focuses on representing victims in mass tort and medical negligence litigation, as well as other types of litigation involving construction, trucking, aviation, wrongful death and defective products. In selecting its list of the top young Metroplex lawyers, the magazine surveyed more than 5,000 attorneys citywide.
Attorneys were allowed to nominate one colleague from their own firm and two colleagues from other firms. Approximately 100 attorneys were selected to the list, which appears in the May 2004 issue of D Magazine.

Certified as a Personal Injury Trial Law Specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Mr. Schmidt is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, and Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He also serves on the board of directors for the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association.
