July 1, 2020 — Garland Ventures LTD recalled “Five Cheese Stuffed Shells” due to a risk of Listeria food poisoning.
The recall was issued after a sample of “Five Cheese Stuffed Shells” tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes by a third-party certified laboratory.
No illnesses were reported, but infections with Listeria can be very serious and potentially fatal. Pregnant women may also suffer a stillbirth, miscarriage, or life-threatening infection of the newborn.
The recalled “Five Cheese Stuffed Shells” were sold nationwide at a select number of retail stores. The product was sold in 10.76-ounce trays with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and parsley.
The food comes in an aluminum foil container with a clear lid. It is marked with Lot #F080SS or Lot #F090SS on the bottom of label.
Consumers are urged to return this product to the place of purchase for full refund.
