In September 2021, Dole Fresh Vegetables Inc. recalled a limited number of cases of Curly Leaf Parsley due to risk of contamination with E. coli non-O157 STEC (Shigatoxin-producing E. coli).
What is the Problem?
No illnesses were reported. Instead, the risk was discovered after a random, routine regulatory sample tested positive for positive E. coli non-O157 STEC by the Michigan Department of Agriculture.

The product being recalled is Dole® Curly Leaf Parsley, with harvest dates of August 18, 2021, and August 19, 2021. It was distributed in Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Missouri.
