The FUNTOK Ride-On Truck Recall

On March 26, 2026, the CPSC announced a recall of about 1,980 FUNTOK 24V 2-Seater Ride-On Trucks due to fire and burn hazards. According to the CPSC, the truck’s internal circuit board can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards to users and bystanders.

Shenzhen Luobei Trading Co. has received 11 reports of the ride-on trucks catching fire, sparking, burning, melting, overheating, and smoking. No injuries have been reported at the time of the recall announcement.

Which Products Are Recalled?

The recall covers FUNTOK 24V 2-Seater Ride-On Trucks, model number DLS-K03. The trucks were sold in red, black, white, and pink. “4×4” is written in black on the tailgate and “TURBO DIESEL” is written in black on the side of the truck. The brand name “FUNTOK” and model number “DLS-K03” are printed on the user manual cover and the exterior retail packaging.

The trucks were sold on Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and TikTok.com from October 2025 through December 2025 for about $240. They were imported by Shenzhen Luobei Trading Co., Ltd. of China.

What Is the Hazard?

The internal circuit board in the recalled ride-on trucks can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards. The hazard is present both during use and while the truck is charging. Battery-powered ride-on vehicles for children are often left to charge overnight or in garages and enclosed spaces, which increases the risk of fire and property damage if the circuit board overheats.

The trucks were sold at the peak of the holiday shopping season — October through December 2025 — meaning they were likely given as gifts and may have been in use in children’s homes for several months before this recall was announced.

What Should You Do?

Consumers should stop using the recalled trucks immediately and unplug the truck if it is currently charging. To receive a full refund, consumers must

  • disable the truck by cutting the wires to the battery
  • then submit a photo of the cut wires with “VOID,” the consumer’s name, and the date written on the hood in permanent marker
  • Step-by-step disassembly and disabling instructions are available at funtok.net/pages/voluntary-product-safety-recall

The truck’s lead-acid battery should not be placed in the trash or curbside recycling. Consumers should bring it to a local household hazardous waste collection center or a retail battery recycling drop-off location.

To reach the importer, contact Shenzhen Luobei Trading Co. toll-free at 800-249-9581, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, or email service@funtok.net.
