October 8, 2013 — A woman who suffered liver failure after taking the dietary supplement OxyElite Pro has died, according to Hawaii News Now. Sonnette Marras, a 48-year old mother with seven children, was denied a liver transplant because she was also diagnosed with breast cancer. She is the first victim in a massive outbreak of non-viral hepatitis in Hawaii that has injured at least 29 people.
