Wahl Massager Recall
On January 28, 2021, Wahl Clipper Corp. announced a voluntary recall for all Deluxe Heat Therapy Massagers (Model 4212) due to a risk of fires and burn injuries to consumers.
What is the Problem?
Wahl recalled the massagers due to a fire hazard. Unfortunately, the connection between the massager and the heat attachment may overheat, smoke, or emit sparks.
Were Any Injuries Reported?
No injuries were reported as of January 28, 2021, but a heated massager that overheats, sparks, or catches on fire poses a risk of burn injuries to consumers.
What Should I Do?
Wahl is urging consumers to “discontinue use immediately” and contact the company for a full refund, plus an additional $10 for the inconvenience. For information, consumers can call 800-767-9245 or email techsupport@wahlclipper.com to arrange for a free return.
