Craig Hospital in Denver, Colorado, specializing in the treatment of Traumatic Brain Injuries and Spinal Cord Injuries has awarded C.L. Mike Schmidt and his wife, Sculptor, Glenna Goodacre the Christopher and Dana Reeves Inspiration Award.
Glenna suffered a serious Brain injury as a result of a fall and has made an amazing recovery and credits Craig Hospital for playing a big role in the recovery process. Mike and Glenna have gifted Santa Fe’s St. Vincent’s Hospital with Glenna’s piece “Crossing the Prairie” and “the Ballerinas” to Craig Hospital-a piece she finished after her injury and which was auctioned off at the PUSH Dinner where the award was presented…St. Vincent’s recently dedicated a new Neurosurgical Suite in Glenna’s name.
