May 19, 2014 — Kraft Foods Group is recalling millions of tubs of cottage cheese because ingredients were not stored at proper refrigeration temperatures, which could lead to premature spoilage and/or food poisoning. Kraft is investigating one report of illness linked to the recalled cottage cheese.
The recall affects nearly three-dozen cottage cheese products, including Knudsen, Breakstone’s, Simply Kraft, and Daily Chef brands. Each container is stamped with date codes from plant 06-245 only, ranging from May 9 until July 23, 2014.
