In November 2023, safety officials warned parents and caregivers to stop using Miracle Baby Loungers due to a risk of suffocation and death.
What is the Problem?
Miracle Baby Loungers violate safety regulations for infant sleep products, posing a risk of suffocation and death. They also pose a fall hazard to infants. These baby loungers “fail to meet safety requirements” and are “an unsafe sleeping environment for infants,” according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
Where Were They Sold?
Miracle Baby Loungers were sold exclusively on Amazon.com from June 2022 through November 2022 for between $30 and $50. The name “Miracle Baby” is printed on a tag on the outside of the lounger.
What Should I Do?
The manufacturer has not agreed to recall the Miracle Baby Loungers or provide consumers with a remedy. Instead, consumers should unzip and disassemble the product by cutting up the cover, sleeping pad, and side bumpers. The pieces should be thrown out or recycled.
