Panera Recalls Cream Cheese for Listeria Risk
On January 29, 2018, Panera Bread recalled all 2-oz and 8-oz cream cheese products in the United States after samples tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes.
What is the Problem?
Panera said that multiple samples of cream cheese from 1 production day tested positive for Listeria, but samples from days before and after tested negative for Listeria. As a precaution, Panera recalled all cream cheese with expiration dates before April 2, 2018.
