November 6, 2019 — A recall has been issued for a mushroom stir fry blend that was sold at QFC and Fred Meyer stores in Oregon and Washington State due to a risk of Listeria.
The recall was announced by GHNW, LLC of Clackamas, Oregon, in response to a massive recall for vegetables issued earlier by Mann Packing Co.
GHNW recalled Mushroom Stir Fry Blend (10-oz. tray) and Stir Fry Blend (16-oz. tray) that were produced using Broccoli Slaw, with “Sell By” dates of October 27, 2019 to November 8, 2019.
At this time, GHNW said it is not aware of any illnesses linked by health officials to this recall.
Listeria monocytogenes is a bacteria that can grow under refrigeration temperatures and survive freezing. Infections can be serious and sometimes fatal, especially for people with vulnerable immune systems. Pregnant women may also suffer a miscarriage, stillbirth, premature birth, or life-threatening infection of a newborn.
