Arizer Solo III Vaporizers Recalled After Battery Fire Reports
In June 2026, a company called 7111495 Canada Inc. (which is doing business as Arizer Tech), announced a recall for about 5,000 Arizer Solo III portable vaporizers. The recall was announced because the internal lithium-ion battery can explode or ignite, which poses a fire hazard and a risk of serious burn injuries.
The recall only involves the Solo III Intergalactic (Black) model. This product is a portable electronic vaporizer that is powered by an internal lithium-ion battery.
What Is the Problem?
The hazard is the internal lithium-ion battery, which can explode or ignite. Lithium-ion battery failures can produce intense heat, flames, and a sudden release of energy. This may be described a “battery venting” due to highly-flammable chemicals inside the battery.
Arizer describes the recall on its own recall page as “a limited number of reports involving battery thermal events, including reports of battery venting or ignition.” The company said there were no reports of significant property damage or burn injuries, and they are proceeding with the recall “out of an abundance of caution.”

No injuries were reported. On the official recall notice, there were 4 reports of incidents, including:
- Thermal incidents (overheating)
- Fires
- Battery venting
- Lithium-ion battery explosion

How To Identify Recalled Arizer Solo III Vaporizers
The recall applies only to the Solo III Intergalactic (Black) color, with a serial number beginning with one of the affected prefixes. The serial number is etched on the bottom of the device. You can also find the serial number on the product packaging. The package is marked with UPC 628078802274.

What Should I Do?
Consumers should stop using the recalled vaporizers and contact Arizer about a replacement Solo III V2 unit. If your unit is affected by the recall, you can register on the recall page for a replacement. To get a replacement, you must confirm that your unit has an affected serial number. You will receive instructions to dispose of the device before a replacement is shipped.
