Chicken Alfredo Tests Positive for Listeria
The same outbreak strain of Listeria was isolated from a routine sample of Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo that was collected at a FreshRealm establishment in March 2025 by the USDA.
Health officials said they “have not identified the source of this contamination,” despite further investigations at the FreshRealm establishment, and testing the ingredients used to produce this item.
What Should I Do?
Anyone who ate these products should be vigilant for symptoms of Listeria for up to 2 months after you ate the contaminated food:
“People in the higher-risk categories who experience flu-like symptoms within two months after eating contaminated food should seek medical care and tell the health care provider about eating the contaminated food.”
