This recall was issued because certain Chewy Chips Ahoy cookies may contain an “unexpected solidified ingredient.” The manufacturer received multiple complaints about possible adverse health effects.
What Products Were Recalled?
The recall includes Chewy Chips Ahoy cookies with a “Best By” date of September 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2019.
The packages have a retail UPC of 0 44000 03223 4. No other Chips Ahoy products are being recalled, according to the company.
