DR Trimmer Mowers Recalled After 19 Fire Reports and 2 Reports of Minor Injuries
In October 2026, DR Power Equipment recalled about 42,860 Pilot and Premier walk-behind trimmer mowers due to a fire hazard and a risk of serious burn injuries or death.
No serious injuries were reported, but the recall notice warns:
“Grass and debris can accumulate in the trimmer mowers and ignite, posing a risk of serious injury or death from fire and burn hazards.”

The recalled mowers are orange and black. They have the DR Power® logo on the top of the motor and on the top of the frame above the cutter head. The words “Premier” or “Pro” are on the side of the frame.
