November 18, 2025 — Face Rock Creamery has recalled certain Vampire Slayer Garlic Cheddar Cheese products due to a risk of Listeria contamination.
This is the second recall from Face Rock Creamery this year, after a previous recall in June 2025 for Vampire Slayer Garlic Cheddar Cheese Curds that were sold at Trader Joe’s stores in Northern California and Nevada.
No illnesses were reported in either recall.
The current recall was announced after Listeria monocytogenes was found in the processing area where this cheese was packaged.
Unlike the previous recall, this time the “finished product has not been tested positive for any contaminants,” Face Rock Creamery explained.
The current recall involves Vampire Slayer Garlic Cheddar Cheese in 6-oz. blocks with Use-By Date 11/04/26 and UPC 8 512222 00547 8.
The cheese was sold exclusively at Face Rock Flagship store in Bendon, Oregon, between November 10 and November 13, 2025.
Face Rock Creamery is urging customers not to eat this product. It can be thrown away or returned to the store for a full refund.
