In September 2018, Gravel Ridge Farms of Cullman, Alabama, voluntarily recalled c eggs dating back to June 25, 2018.
Salmonella Outbreak Linked to Recalled Eggs
The outbreak infected at least 14 people with Salmonella, including 12 people in Tennessee and 2 people in Alabama. Two of the victims were hospitalized with severe food poisoning after eating recalled eggs from Gravel Ridge Farms.
Where Were Recalled Eggs Sold?
The eggs were sold in cardboard containers (Single Dozen and 2.5 Dozen Flats) with UPC 7-06970-38444-6.
The eggs were distributed to grocery stores and restaurants in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee between June 25, 2018 and September 6, 2018.
