HSN Recalls 5.4 Million Clothing Steamers for Burn Hazard
In May 2021, HSN recalled 5.4 million Joy / JM® My Little Steamer® handheld clothing steamers because they can spray or leak extremely hot water and cause burn injuries.
Clothing Steamer Linked to 100 Burn Injuries, Some Severe
HSN reported 227 incidents of hot water spraying or leaking out of the recalled clothing steamers. At least 106 people were burned, including 8 people with 2nd-degree burns, and 6 people with 3rd-degree burns.
What Clothing Steamers Were Recalled?
HSN recalled all models and colors of Joy® or JM®-branded My Little Steamers® that have been sold since January 1, 2002. The products have “My Little Steamer” or “My Little Steamer Go Mini” on the side.
HSN Steamer Recall Class Action Settlement

Where Were They Sold?
Approximately 5.4 million of the steamers were sold nationwide on the HSN television network, HSN.com, in stores or online at retailers, such as Amazon, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Walmart, and Lowes.
