June 21, 2017 — Kawasaki Motors Corp., of Foothill Ranch, California, has recalled 6,600 of the 2017 model-year Teryx, Mule, and Brute Force 750 all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) due to a fire hazard.
No injuries have been reported, but the ATVs were recalled because fuel gauge retainer can collapse and leak fuel and catch on fire.
The recall involves Mule utility vehicles, Teryx recreational off-highway vehicles (ROVs) and Brute Force 750 all-terrain vehicles (ATVs).
They were sold from March 2017 to April 2017 at Kawasaki dealers nationwide for $8,000 to $15,000. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ATVs and contact Kawasaki for a free repair.
