Toddler Tower Stool Recalled After Child Suffers Brain Injury
On March 13, 2025, a recall was announced for about 10,300 Onasti Toddler Tower Stools that were sold on Amazon.com by Blissful-Time, a manufacturer based in China.
The tower stools were recalled because “the stools can collapse or tip over while in use, posing serious fall and injury hazards to children,” according to the recall.

Blissful-Time said it received 4 reports of the Onasti Toddler Tower Stools collapsing or tipping over, including 2 injuries, with 1 causing bruising and the other a brain injury to a toddler.
How To Identify Recalled Toddler Tower Stools
Onasti Toddler Tower Stools have the “Onasti” logo on the warning label on the side of the stools. They were sold on Amazon.com from March 2024 through December 2024 for between $72 and $90.
Instead of a refund, the manufacturer is urging customers to stop using the stools, and store them away from children until they are repaired. The repair kit consists of two steps, one base, and one guardrail.

The problem is that the “storage tray with cup holders and step can come loose from the tower, posing a fall hazard to the child,” according to the recall posted on September 2, 2021.
There were 20 reports of the storage tray or steps coming loose, including one child who fell and suffered minor bruises. The recalled products were sold at Step2.com and online at Amazon.com in May 2021 for $100.
What is a Toddler Tower Stool?

Children can fall out of a toddler tower stool and suffer serious injuries, including brain injuries with lifelong side effects.
Head injuries in children can have mild or severe symptoms, and the symptoms may occur a bit differently in each child. It can also be challenging for doctors to diagnose certain injuries, such as hairline skull fractures or brain damage.
