VEVOR Ice Shaving Machines Recalled for Fire Hazard
In December 2025, Sanven Technology Ltd. issued a recall for more than 11,650 VEVOR Ice Crushers that can overheat and catch on fire.
What Happened?
Sanven warned that the ice crushers may “experience a thermal event and ignite, posing a fire hazard.” The recall was announced after 2 reports of thermal events, including 1 fire. No injuries were reported.
How To Identify Recalled Products
The recall involves VEVOR Ice Crushers, which were also advertised online as “Ice Shavers” or “Snow Cone Machines.” They came in yellow, red, silver and blue.
The recall involves products with Model Numbers BY-300 and BY-300 FS. The model number is printed on a label on top of the machine, along with the brand-name “VEVOR.”
Where Were They Sold?
VEVOR Ice Crushers were sold online between July 2021 and July 2025 at websites including: Vevor.com, Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Wayfair.com, HomeDepot.com and Lowes.com.
What Are Ice Crushers?
Ice-crushing machines are products that pulverize regular ice cubes into tiny pieces with a soft snow-like texture, which is ideal for snow cones. They may be sold under a variety of names, for example:
- Ice crushers
- Ice shavers
- Snow cone makers
- Shave ice machines
Can I Get a Refund?
