April 12, 2024 — About 6,600 zipline kits that were sold on Amazon have been recalled after 9 people fell and were injured when the stainless-steel cable broke.
Jugader said it received 20 reports of the cable breaking, resulting in 9 injuries, including lacerations and one broken clavicle.
The recall involves Jugader Zipline Kits that were sold on amazon.com from March 2020 through June 2023. The product has an Amazon ASIN number of B083FXFCY5.
The recalled zipline kits contain a stainless-steel cable wire that is 160-feet long and 4-mm thick, a blue trolley, a hanging plastic seat, and other installation accessories.
Jugader is asking customers to immediately stop using the recalled zipline kits and contact the company for a free repair kit. The repair kit will consist of a new cable and updated installation instructions.
