March 6, 2024 — Sensio Inc. has been hit by a group of 10 lawsuits involving people who were burned by Bella and Crux Pressure Cookers.
All of the lawsuits involve people who suffered burn injuries when they were able to open the lid on a Bella or Crux Pressure Cooker while it was still pressurized, resulting in an explosion of hot food and liquid.
The lawsuits allege that the pressure cookers have defective lids that are removable when there is still heat and steam trapped in the pot.
