December 4, 2025 — Boar’s Head has announced a recall for certain grated Pecorino Romano cheese products that may be contaminated with Listeria.
The recall involves multiple Pecorino Romano products that were manufactured by the Ambiola Company and sold by 5 different brand-names at grocery stores in the U.S.
The products were distributed to stores and distributors nationwide between November 3, 2025 and November 20, 205.
The recalled cheese was sold under 5 brand-names, including Ambiola, Locatelli, Member’s Mark, Pinna, and Boar’s Head.
The recall also involves certain EverRoast® Chicken Caesar Salad and Wraps containing Boar’s Head Pecorino Romano cheese.
Ambriola said it recalled the cheese after “routine testing confirmed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.”
No illnesses were reported, but the Ambiola Company urges customers who have symptoms of Listeria to contact their healthcare provider.
