Agio Patio Swings Recalled After 8 Injuries Reported

In May 2026, World Bright International Limited recalled about 18,500 Agio Menlo Woven Patio Swings that were sold exclusively at Costco due to a fall hazard which poses a risk of serious injury or death.

What Patio Swings Were Recalled at Costco?

The recall covers Agio Menlo Woven Patio Swings with model number 1934256. They were sold at Costco retail stores and on Costco.com from February 2026 through March 2026 for between $549 and $649.

The swings were imported by Costco, distributed by World Bright International Ltd. of Hong Kong, and manufactured in China. The CPSC has assigned the recall number 26-485.

What is the Problem?

According to the CPSC, the swing seat can detach from the frame while in use, posing a risk of serious injury or death from a fall hazard.

Agio describes the defect on its own recall page as follows:

“There have been reports of the swing seat detaching from the swing frame while in use, posing a backward fall hazard.”

The recall involves the original open S-hooks that connect the seat to the frame. Agio is providing a free repair kit with 4 replacement S-hooks featuring a clasp on one end, which is designed to prevent the seat from dislodging under load.

Agio also warns that the defect may not be visible during inspection. The company states that swings that appear to be in good condition should not continue to be used until the replacement hooks have been installed.

How Many People Were Injured?

The firm has received 8 reports of the swing seat detaching from the swing frame, resulting in 8 reports of injury.

Reported injuries include:

  • Impact injuries to the head
  • Impact injuries to the arms

The CPSC has classified the hazard as posing a risk of serious injury or death.
