YCXXKJ Baby Bath Seats Recalled for Drowning Hazard
In December 2025, a seller on Amazon called BenTalk announced a recall for about 8,960 YCXXKJ-branded Baby Bath Seats due to a drowning hazard.
What is the Problem?
No incidents or injuries were reported, but safety officials warned that the recalled YCXXKJ Baby Bath Seats are unstable and can tip over.
“The recalled bath seats violate the mandatory standard for infant bath seats because they are unstable and can tip over while in use, posing a risk of serious injury or death due to drowning.”
Stability Requirements for Infant Bath Seats
The U.S. has strict safety requirements for infant bath seats. This includes performance requirements for stability, as well as specific requirements for suction cups.
How To Identify Baby Bath Seats
The recall involves YCXXKJ Baby Bath Seats that were sold on Amazon.com between May 2024 and October 2025.
They came in blue, gray, pink and yellow colors, with two detachable arms that serve as restraints, four suction cups on the bottom, and 3 animal toys. There is also a tracking label on the back of the bath seat with Model: YD-1958.
