CasaClean Handheld Steamers Recalled After 13 People Burned
In July 2025, HSN recalled 23,000 CasaClean Handheld Steamers (also called “steam cleaners”) due to a risk of serious burn injuries. These steam cleaners were manufactured by Deale International LLC, a company based in Florida.
What Happened?
At least 13 people were burned when the steam cleaners leaked or spewed boiling-hot water or steam, according to the manufacturer.
13 People Burned by CasaClean Steam Cleaners
CasaClean Steam Cleaners were recalled after 26 reports of the steamers leaking boiling-hot water or steam, including 13 people who were burned. According to the recall:
“The steamers can leak steam or spew hot boiling water, posing a risk of serious burn injury to users.”
What Are CasaClean Steam Cleaners?
CasaClean 3-in-1 Handheld Steamer were sold on HSN (Home Shopping Network). They were advertised as a household cleaning tool that blasts out boiling-hot water and steam to remove dirt and grease from grout, tiles, rugs, upholstery, windows, or other surfaces.
How To Identify CasaClean Handheld Steamers
The recall involves about 23,000 CasaClean Handheld Steamers with Model Number DF-958. They were sold in white/gray and blue/gray colors. The silver “CasaClean” logo is on the right side of the steamer.
The model number is listed on a large black bar on the product rating sticker on the bottom of the machine.
They were sold by HSN from November 2024 through April 2025 for about $40.

Yes. Deale International, LLC is offering a $39.99 refund. Refunds will be delivered in up to 6 weeks from submission of information.
