June 28, 2023 — Safety officials are warning parents and caregivers to immediately stop using CCATTO Baby Tents due to a deadly suffocation hazard.
The baby tents “do not comply with mandatory federal safety standards” because they pose a deadly fall hazard.
They also contain a banned infant sleep pillow, which poses a deadly risk of suffocation, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
CCATTO Baby Tents were sold on Amazon.com and other websites for about $30 in recent years. There is no labeling on the baby tents, which is another violation of federal law.
The Chinese manufacturer did not respond to safety officials’ request for a recall. Instead, parents and caregivers are being warned not to use these products.
