Cosyland Tower Stools Recalled After 8 Child Injuries Reported
In May 2026, Cosyland Official recalled approximately 125,200 Cosyland-branded children’s tower stools due to a risk of serious injury and death from entrapment and fall hazards.
The recall covers two models — CS0003 and CS0092-4. They were sold in natural bamboo and gray finishes. Each stool measures about 16 inches deep, 18 inches wide, and 35 inches tall, with “COSYLAND” and warning labels visible along the top rails.
What is the Problem?
According to the CPSC, the recalled tower stools can collapse or tip over while in use, and a child’s torso can fit through the openings on the front and back sides. This poses a risk of serious injury and death due to tip over, fall, and entrapment hazards.
For parents, it means a toddler standing on the stool can fall when it gives way, or slip through one of the side openings and become stuck. According to the recall warning:
“The recalled tower stools can collapse or tip over while in use, and a child’s torso can fit through the openings on the front and back sides, posing a risk of serious injury and death due to tip over, fall and entrapment hazards.”
How Many Children Were Injured?
The CPSC says Cosyland is aware of 25 reports involving stability issues and falls, resulting in 8 injuries. The reported injuries include:
- Scrapes
- Contusions (bruising)
- A fractured arm (broken arm bone)
Because tower stools are used by toddlers reaching counter height, falls from this product type can land on the head, face, neck, and arms. A fractured arm in a young child often involves emergency room care, casting, and follow-up orthopedic visits.
