October 6, 2020 — Seneca Snack Company has recalled snack bags of Clancy’s and Seneca Cinnamon Apple Chips due to a risk of Salmonella contamination.
The recall includes Clancy’s Cinnamon Apple Chips (2.5-oz. bag with Package Code 26JUN2021 or 27JUN2021). They were sold at ALDI.
The recall also includes Seneca Cinnamon Apple Chips (0.7-oz. bags — Package Code 26JUN2021, and 2.5-oz. bags — Package Code 28JUN2021). They were sold by Amazon and Gemline.
No illnesses were reported. Instead, Seneca Snack Company issued the recall after an ingredient supplier shipped a product that was potentially tainted with Salmonella, according to the recall notice.
