Fennel Seed Recall
July 2019 — Mountain Rose Herbs of Eugene, Oregon, recalled whole fennel seeds after a potion of the active inventory tested positive for Salmonella, according to the company. No illnesses were reported.
Recalled Product Information
The recall involves all sizes of whole fennel seeds, ranging from 4 ounces to 50-lb bags, with Lot #25031. They were sold in clear plastic bags or poly-woven bags between April 2019 and July 18, 2019.

Mountain Rose Herbs sold the recalled fennel seeds at its retail shop in Eugene, Oregon, as well as online, mail order, and fax.
The product was distributed to vitamin and health food stores in AZ, CA, CO, FL, IL, MA, MI, MN, MT, NC, NE, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WV.
