Harbor Freight Tools Recalls 479,000 Roller Seats
In February 2022, Harbor Freight Tools recalled about 478,800 Pittsburgh Automotive® Pneumatic Roller Seats because the seat can break off the seat post.
The recall involves seats with the following information:
- Item #61896 (UPC 792363618960)
- Item #46319 (UPC 193175340764)
- Item #63456 (UPC 792363634564)
How Many People Were Injured?
Harbor Freight Tools said it had received 96 reports of the seat weld breaking, including 10 reports of people who suffered minor injuries, including bruises from falling from the seat.
Where Were They Sold?
The recalled roller seats were sold at Harbor Freight Tools stores nationwide and online at www.harborfreight.com from July 2014 through September 2021 for about $30.
Harbor Freight Tools is asking consumers to immediately stop using the recalled seats and return them to the nearest Harbor Freight Tools store for a free replacement or full refund in the form of a gift card.
