March 20, 2020 — About 3,600 Kids & Koalas baby walkers were recalled due to multiple safety hazards that pose a risk of serious injury or death.
These baby walkers do not meet federal safety standards for several reasons. They can fit through a standard doorway and are not designed to stop at the edge of a step.
Furthermore, the recalled baby walkers have leg openings that allow a child to slip down until the child’s head is trapped at the neck. Babies using these walkers can be seriously injured or killed.
The baby walkers were sold online at Amazon.com from September 2017 through July 2018 for between $89 and $123.
The recalled Kids & Koalas foldable baby walkers have 8 wheels and a seat with adjustable height. Model number X002 can be found on an attached hang tag underneath the product and on the packaging.
Amazon will contact all customers directly who purchased the walkers on Amazon.com with further information related to refunds.
