Kidde Recalls TruSense Smoke Alarms
In May 2021, Kidde recalled about 226,000 TruSense® Smoke Alarms and combination Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Alarms that may fail to alert consumers to a fire.
Where Were They Sold?
The recalled smoke alarms were sold from May 2019 to September 2020 at Walmart, Home Depot, Menards, other stores, electrical distributors, Amazon.com, ShopKidde.com and other online retailers.
Was Your Smoke Alarm Recalled?
Kidde recalled TruSense® Smoke Alarms and Combination Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Alarms with Model Series 2040, 2050, 2060 and 2070 Smoke and Combination Smoke/Carbon Monoxide alarms.
The recall only includes alarms with “TruSense” or “AMBER=FAULT” printed on the front of the alarm.
