April 29, 2019 — Kids II Inc. has recalled all models of Rocking Sleepers after at least 5 infants suffocated to death.
Kids II Rocking Sleepers were sold under several brands, including Disney Baby, Bright Starts, DreamComfort and Ingenuity.
They were sold at major stores including Walmart, Target and Toys ‘R Us from March 2012 through April 2019 for approximately $40 to $80.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) warned:
“Since the 2012 product introduction, five infant fatalities have occurred in the Kids II Rocking Sleepers, after the infants rolled from their back to their stomach while unrestrained, or under other circumstances.”
The inclined seats pose a risk of positional asphyxia, which is when a young infant suffocates because their chin folds into their chest and cuts off their airway. Older infants who are not restrained in an inclined seat can also roll over and suffocate.

The recall comes after Fisher-Price recalled about 4.7 million Rock ‘n Play Sleepers after they were linked to at least 32 infant deaths.
Consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact Kids II for a refund or voucher.
