Mann Packing Co. Recalls Vegetables for Listeria Risk
On November 3, 2019, Mann Packing Co. recalled a variety of vegetable products due to a risk of Listeria contamination. No illnesses have been linked to the recalled vegetables.
The recalled products have “Best If Enjoyed By” date between October 11, 2019 and November 16, 2019. The full list of products and pictures are available at https://mannpackingproductlist11-2019.us.
The recall involves a variety of broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, vegetable trays, bowls, kale, cabbage, brussels sprouts, and mixed vegetable products that were sold under the following brand-names:
- HEB
- HEB Organic
- Hungryroot
- Kroger Organic
- Compliments
- Mann’s
- US Foods
- Mann’s Family Favorites
- Mann’s Organic
- Mann’s Snacking Favorites
- Marketside
- Marketside Organic
- O Organics
- Signature Farms

- Trader Joes

Wegmans Veggie Power Blend Recall
On November 4, 2019, Wegmans recalled two products that contain recalled vegetables:
- Veggie Power Blend: Sold on the Self-Serve Cold Bar between 9/29/2019 and 11/04/2019
- Tofu Shiitake Slaw: Sold on the Self-Serve Cold Bar between 9/29/2019 and 11/04/2019
Vegetable Stir Fry Blend Recalled at QFC and Fred Meyer
On November 5, 2019, GHNW, LLC recalled a Mushroom Stir Fry Blend (10-ounce tray) and Stir Fry Blend (16-ounce tray) that was sold at QFC and Fred Meyer in Oregon and Washington State. The products have “Sell By” dates from October 27, 2019 to November 8, 2019.
Meijer Recalls Select Vegetable Trays
On November 5, 2019, Meijer recalled certain vegetable trays and broccoli florets.
The recall involves products that were sold between September 25, 2019 and November 4, 2019 in all Meijer stores in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Wisconsin.
Furthermore, two Meijer stores recalled broccoli florets that were sold from the salad bar from October 1, 2019 to October 30, 2019. The stores are the Knapps Corner Meijer and Rockford Meijer in Michigan.
Meijer recalled the following products under the Meijer brand label with the following sell-by dates:
- Store Made Vegetable Tray — UPC: 2-20185-00000-2 — September 25, 2019 through November 8 2019
- Vegetable Tray W/Dip — UPC: 2-20186-00000-1 — September 25, 2019 through November 8, 2019
- Scale Cauliflower Florets — UPC: 2-21233-00000-5 — September 25, 2019 through November 8, 2019
- Scale Broccoli Florets — UPC: 2-21234-00000-4 – September 25, 2019 through November 8, 2019
Whole Foods Recalls 70+ Vegetable Products from Salad Bar, Hot Bars
On November 6, 2019, Whole Foods recalled dozens of vegetable products that were sold from the salad bars, hot bars, chefs’ cases, catering, or packaged in plastic containers between October 10, 2019 and November 4, 2019. Click here for a list of recalled items by state.
Fresh Seasons Veggie Cup Recall
On November 11, 2019, Taher Inc. recalled certain 7.5-ounce Fresh Seasons Kitchen Veggie & Ranch Cups in Minnesota.
The recall only involves veggie cups containing cauliflower that were sold between October 30, 2019 and November 4, 2019 in select cafeterias and vending machines in Minnesota. The cup has a UPC number of 8 10106 020334 and a sell by date of November 11, 2019.
