January 13, 2020 — The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is warning the public not to eat certain meat products from the Clay Center Locker Plant due to a risk of Listeria contamination.
Dieck’s Inc. recalled meat items that were produced at Clay Center Locker, 212 6th Street Clay Center, Kansas 67432
The company issued a voluntary recall on December 30, 2019, for ready-to-eat products with smoked pork loins, ham hocks, and smoked ham that were produced on December 21, 2019.
The recall also involves hams that were delivered to the Future Farmers of America chapters in Clay Center and Chapman, Kansas.
No illnesses were reported. The recall was issued after a food sample test by the Kansas Department of Agriculture found a potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.
