October 26, 2020 — An outbreak of Salmonella has been linked to Nékter Juice Bar in Woodbury, Minnesota, according to state health officials.
At least 9 people were infected with the outbreak strain of Salmonella Paratyphi B after consuming juice, smoothies, bowls, or other menu items from Nékter Juice Bar, according to health officials.
Two people were hospitalized due to severe illnesses. No deaths were reported. The illnesses occurred between mid-August and September 21, 2020.
Investigators did not identify a specific food item that caused the outbreak. Instead, Nékter Juice Bar has cleaned, sanitized and restocked ingredients.
