About the VEEKTOMX Power Bank Recall

On April 9, 2026, Shenzhen Baihang Technology Co., Ltd. announced a recall of about 8,000 VEEKTOMX VT103 Small Portable Charger Mini Power Banks in cooperation with the CPSC. The recall covers units sold on Amazon.com between January 2024 and September 2024, priced between $24 and $30.

What is the Problem?

The hazard is that the lithium-ion battery in the recalled power banks can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers. Shenzhen Baihang has received 3 reports of fires resulting in minor property damage. No injuries have been reported.

How to Identify the Recalled Power Banks

The recalled units are VEEKTOMX VT103 Small Portable Charger Mini Power Banks. They are available in white, pink, and purple. The model number “VT103” is imprinted on the back of the power bank.

The key identifying feature: the recalled units do not have a serial number in the bottom right corner of the back of the power bank. Units that do display a serial number in that location are not part of this recall.

What Consumers Should Do

The CPSC is directing consumers to immediately stop using the recalled power banks. Consumers should contact Shenzhen Baihang at recall@veektomx.com or visit veektomx.com and click “Important Recall Information” to verify their unit is included and to receive a free replacement power bank.

Do not throw the recalled power bank in the trash, general recycling bins, or used battery recycling boxes found at retail stores. Recalled lithium-ion batteries must be disposed of at a municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center. Contact your local HHW center before drop-off to confirm it accepts recalled lithium-ion devices.
