Other Outbreaks of Salmonella Linked to Moringa Leaf Powder
Live It Up® Super Greens is advertised as a “superfood,” with Moringa leaf and other ingredients like spinach, broccoli, kale, and wheatgrass.
The problem is that Moringa leaf powder has been linked to other outbreaks of Salmonella in Super Greens Powder in recent months. There have also been multiple recalls for products containing Moringa leaf powder due to a risk of Salmonella.
For example, in October 2025, the FDA warned people not to eat Member’s Mark® Super Greens Dietary Supplements that were sold at Sam’s Club stores nationwide.
The recalled supplements were linked to an outbreak of Salmonella Richmond that sickened at least 11 people in 7 states between May and September 2025. No one died, but 3 people were hospitalized.
