Workbless Pressure Washers Recalled After Shock Hazard Found
In August 2026, Workbless recalled about 2,200 electric pressure washers because the units do not have certain safety features, which may increase the risk of electrical shocks.
What Is the Problem?
No injuries were reported in the recall, but safety officials described the hazard as follows:
“The recalled pressure washers lack an integral ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI) and an adequate-length power cord, posing serious risks of injury or death from shock and electrocution hazards.”
What is a GFCI?
A GFCI is a safety feature that monitors the electrical current flowing through a device. The GFCI cuts off power if it detects current escaping along an unintended path (for example, in water or a person’s body). It is a significant safety feature on any corded electric tool.
Which Products Are Affected?
The recall includes two Workbless® pressure washer models:
- Model WB0301 — green and black, about 27.24″ H x 10.83″ W x 8.39″ D, labeled “ELECTRIC PRESSURE WASHER”
- Model WB0302 — green and black, about 29.57″ H x 14.69″ W x 10.94″ D, labeled “HEAVY DUTY ELECTRIC PRESSURE WASHER”
Both models have 4 quick-connect nozzles, a a foam cannon, the name “WORKBLESS” and the model number on a label on the back of the unit.

- Sold on Amazon.com, Best Buy, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Overstock, Target, and Walmart
- Sold from April 2025 through July 2026
- Cost was $97 to $140
- You can find “WORKBLESS,” “WB0301” or “WB0302,” and “ELECTRIC PRESSURE WASHER” on a label on the back of the unit
What Should I Do?
The CPSC urges consumers to stop using the recalled Workbless pressure washers and contact the company for a refund. You will need to cut the unplugged power cord in half, photograph the destroyed unit, and email the photo to service@workbless.net before disposing of the product.
