Evenflo Pillo Portable Napper Recall
January 2020 — Evenflo Company, Inc., of Piqua, Ohio, has recalled about 3,100 Pillo Portable Nappers because babies can suffocate.
What is the Problem?
No incidents or injuries have been reported, but Pillo Portable Nappers have a dangerous inclined design that poses a suffocation hazard for babies. Other inclined sleepers for babies are linked to at least 73 deaths and over 1,100 incidents, according to safety officials.
What Products Were Recalled?
The recalled Pillo Portable Nappers are labeled with Model Number #12132125.
They were sold at Target, Kohl’s, Amazon.com, Buy Buy Baby, JC Penney, Walmart and other stores from May 2017 through January 2020 for about $75.
Evenflo is asking consumers to immediately stop using the product and contact the company for a cash refund or voucher.
