Tzumi Sauna Blankets Recalled After 6 Overheating Reports

In May 2026, Tzumi Electronics voluntarily recalled about 3,600 SLF Sauna Blankets because the sauna blankets can overheat, which poses a fire hazard and a risk of burn injuries.

What Sauna Blankets Were Recalled?

The recall covers the SLF Sauna Blanket, model number 30065TAR with serial number WF2236430065. The blankets measure 70 inches long by 31 inches wide. They are black with white accent handles, and were sold with a control panel and a wireless remote to adjust time and temperature.

What Is the Problem?

The recalled sauna blankets can overheat during use. Because these are electrically-heated blankets that are designed to wrap around a user’s body, an overheating unit is a fire hazard to surrounding materials and a serious burn hazard to the person using it.

Tzumi describes the issue on its own recall page as follows:

“Tzumi Electronics is voluntarily recalling the SLF Sauna Blanket, model 30065TAR, sold from February 2025 through February 2026, with serial number WF2236430065. The recalled sauna blankets can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards. The safety and satisfaction of our customers is our top priority, and we are taking immediate steps to address this issue.”

How Many People Were Affected?

Tzumi Electronics has received 6 reports of the products overheating, including 5 reports of minor property damage to furniture. No injuries have been confirmed by the CPSC at this time.
