Yetonamr Teething Toys Recalled After 32 Choking Incidents
In January 2026, safety officials announced a recall for about 6,800 teething toys that were sold on Amazon because children due to a serious choking hazard, risk of respiratory distress, and death.
What Happened?
The recalled Yetonamr Pull-String Teething Toys were linked to 32 choking incidents, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). No severe injuries or deaths were reported.
Teething Toys Linked to Life-Threatening Choking Hazards
The teething toys were recalled because the silicone pull-string “tentacles” can reach the back of a child’s throat and get stuck, which poses a life-threatening choking hazard for children.
The toys also violate the mandatory safety standard for toys sold in the U.S. because the strings are smaller than permitted, according to the CPSC. According to the recall:
“The silicone strings can reach the back of the throat and become lodged, posing a risk of respiratory distress, serious choking hazard and death.”
How To Identify Recalled Teething Toys

The toy was imported to the U.S. by Longyan Xinluo District Guiheng E-Commerce Co. Ltd., doing business as Longyanguiheng, of China.
