Flyboss Baby Bouncers Linked Risk of Infant Head Injuries
In September 2026, the CPSC warned parents and caregivers to stop using Flyboss 3-in-1 Portable Baby Bouncer and Rocker Chairs because they can collapse. If this occurs, babies can suddenly drop to the ground and suffer impact injuries, including head injuries when they hit the floor. The warning affects 14,200 bouncers in the U.S.
Is This a Recall?
No. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced this as a Product Safety Warning. It is not a recall issued by the manufacturer.
The importer, Dougllass LLC of Sheridan, Wyoming, has been “unresponsive to CPSC requests for a recall or information about the product,” according to the warning. As a result, no refund, repair, or replacement is available to families who purchased or own one of these products.
What Is the Problem?
Infant bouncers are supposed to securely hold a baby while they rest, eat, or play. If the frame or locking mechanism fails, the bouncer can collapse and the baby can fall to the floor. For infants, even a short fall onto a hard surface can result in a serious head injury.
According to the CPSC:
“The bouncers can collapse while in use, posing a risk of impact injury to infants in the bouncer.”
How Many Infants Were Hurt?
The CPSC said it is aware of 191 reports of the bouncer collapsing during use. In 115 of those reports, the infant’s head hit the floor or surface under the bouncer. At least 20 babies needed medical attention for their head injury.
The reported incidents include:
- 191 total reports of the bouncer collapsing unexpectedly during use
- 115 reports of a baby’s head hitting the floor
- 20 infants needed medical attention
- No recall, refund, repair or other remedy available to consumers

- Have an accessory bar with dangling toys (moon, star or animal)
- Sold on Amazon.com from September 2024 through August 2026
- Also sold on eBay.com
- Manufactured in China
