Circle K Chicken Salad Sandwich Recall
In July 2021, LSG Sky Chefs recalled Circle K® Chicken Salad Sandwiches because it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
What is the Problem?
The chicken used in the recalled Chicken Salad Sandwiches is part of a nationwide recall from Tyson Foods, Inc., which involves around 9 millions pounds of frozen, fully-cooked chicken products.
Where Was It Sold?
LSG Sky Chefs produced the recalled Chicken Salad Sandwiches for Circle K® convenience stores in the Phoenix, Arizona, and Southern California regions.
What Chicken Salad Sandwiches Were Recalled?
The recall involves 5.9 oz. Chicken Salad Sandwiches that were sold at Circle K stores between June 1, 2021 and July 5, 2021. The products are labeled with “best buy” dates of 6/7/21 through 7/9/21. It is labeled with Circle K® branding and UPC 815138013996.
Consumers should dispose of the product or return it to Circle K for a full refund.

Since 2018, chicken salad has caused multiple food poisoning outbreaks, resulting in hundreds of illnesses and at least 1 death. Some of the recalled products include:
