What is the problem?
Rascal® Plus contains glyphosate, the same toxic weed-killing chemical in Roundup® and dozens of other herbicides. In 2015, the cancer-research division of the World Health Organization warned that glyphosate could probably cause cancer in people, based on several studies in the U.S., Canada, and Sweden that found higher rates of Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma among farm-workers who used glyphosate.
What is Rascal Herbicide?
Rascal® Plus Herbicide is a product manufactured by Agrian that is used to kill broadleaf weeds, grassy plants, woody brush and trees. It contains glyphosate (41%) and other active ingredients (59%).
$289 Million Award in Glyphosate Cancer Lawsuit
In August 2018, Monsanto was ordered to pay $289 million to DeWayne Johnson, 46, a groundskeeper from California who developed lymphoma after being exposed to glyphosate on the job.
